Thoughts To Tangibles - Let's Begin

“ Thoughts to tangibles “ sums up my creative philosophy . At its core is the joy of bringing great ideas and thoughts to life and seeing them thrive out there in the world and in the hands of people and shape the world in impactful ways.

One of my favourite quotes about creativity is from the eighteenth-century philosopher Giambattista Vico: Verum ipsum factum.

Translated to English, it means “We only know what we make.”

Bringing tangibility to great thoughts and ideas requires us to put them through the fires of creativity and collaboration fuelled by persistent execution, determination and grit.

For me every idea has an intrinsic value in it. They come about when Neurons in our brain light up and make connections in unique manner when exposed to new perspectives, experiences and frontiers of knowledge. Some of these ideas achieve form, function and scale. Some others translate into art, stories, breakthrough science, technology and a few others into products, ventures and organisations.

Humans for ages have taken many journeys that started with an idea. These adventures end with the idea and the people both equally transformed.

Taigo Forté beautifully talks of engaging with ideas in his book :

**To truly “know” something, it’s not enough to read about it in a book or learn about it. Ideas are merely thoughts until you put them into action. Thoughts are fleeting, quickly fading as time passes. To truly make an idea stick, you have to engage with it. You have to get your hands dirty and apply that knowledge to a practical problem. We learn by making concrete things—before we feel ready, before we have it completely figured out, and before we know where it’s going**. -

One of the ways I try to measure my life is by the number of ideas I bring out into the world. The process of envisioning a new future, a solution to a problem , a new design or a new story and then putting in the effort to execute on them and make them tangible is a very fulfilling and transformative adventure to be on. I like do these creative projects, build ventures and work on them to see the products come alive and have a life of their own and become a part of the collective human consciousness on earth.

Thoughts to Tangibles is my ever-evolving digital space and media hub on the web, where I share my writings, work, projects and insightful conversations with people.

Welcome to this world. Create something new.
